Read Ric's biography
RIC RUNESTAD IS THE PRINCIPAL OWNER of Runestad Financial Services (RFS), an agency that specializes in helping people plan for retirement. Ric Runestad started in finance and insurance in 1999, and shortly after founded RFS.
Throughout his career, Ric has advised well over 1,000 clients. He has won numerous awards from the various financial institutions with whom he partners. He has been listed in the top ten of Indiana Long-Term Care partnership production, and has qualified for the Presidents Club/Top Ten Producer list with three different companies. A Central Michigan University graduate, Ric has earned his Investment Advisor Representative designation with a Series 65 securities registration.
Growing up on a farm in Michigan in a family of six children taught Ric the value of hard work and the value of money. Ric is also a military veteran. He and his wife, Jenni, are the proud parents of three girls, Emili, Natali, and Molli. When not working, Ric Runestad enjoys spending time with his family, attending church, and writing articles.

Jenni is a licensed agent and also the co-owner of Runestad Financial Services with her husband, Ric.
As the mother of three, she remains very involved in the local community and participates in area groups that raise funds for Leo schools. Her daughters are third generation Leo students, and she takes pride being engaged in the school board and other committees.
Jenni graduated from Taylor University where she played on the tennis team that qualified for the NAIA national championship four straight years.
When not working, she likes to spend time with her family, is an avid tennis player and enjoys reading.

Read Daniel's biography
Since joining the team at Runestad Financial Services several years ago, Daniel Kruse as become a leading expert on Medicare benefits in Northern Indiana. Daniel specializes in Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage, and Prescription Drug Plans. He is certified and experience in all types of Medicare plans.
Daniel’s firm commitment to making sure each of his clients is always in the best plan possible has allowed him to serve hundreds of clients. Each year Daniel and his team help review and make changes to each of his Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan clients during the Medicare Open Enrollment period. Daniel ensures everyone is contacted and given the chance to make sure they have the best plan for them from year to year. So, whether you’re turning 65 or already on Medicare, Daniel commits to giving you great service, pricing, and value.
When not helping his clients, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family. He is also active in his church, discipleship, and hospitality. Along with being an avid gardener, Daniel is also a musician and an auctioneer.

Read Nathan's biography
Nathan is a licensed agent who meets with clients to help them with retirement planning, life insurance, and all other investment planning. He aspires to provide the best suited financial strategy for his clients.
Nathan acquired a degree in Finance at the University of Saint Francis where he also played tennis. At Saint Francis, Nathan was the top single player, was credited with all-conference in tennis three years in a row, was name Male Student Athlete of the Year at Saint Francis, and served as President of the Finance and Investment Club. Prior to working with Runestad Financial Services, Nathan worked at Lincoln Financial Group for two years as a service representative. He specialized in annuity and pension plans and his experience at Lincoln has provided him with a vast insight in finances. Nathan has earned the Series 65 and Series 63 securities registrations and has passed the Series 6 exam, also known as the investment company products exam.
Outside of work, Nathan enjoys being outdoors, playing tennis, spending time with his family, and working on his family’s farm.
Read Maria's biography
Maria worked in human resources for a local hospital network for almost 16 years prior to branching out to the finance industry with Runestad Financial Services. Her previous positions provided well-rounded, hands-on experience in areas such as customer service, communication, and general business responsibilities.
Maria is a graduate of Huntington University (back when it was still a college!) where she majored in English.
Outside of work, Maria assists with the children’s program at her church and is on the Board of Matthew 25. Maria enjoys travelling, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family, which includes a slightly spoiled Sheltie!
Read Jamie's biography
Jamie is a customer service and support generalist, assisting the agents and investment advisors with Medicare, Prescription Drug Plan, and Annuity needs to ensure the best possible service for our clients. Jamie also serves as a project manager by facilitating various events and programs that RFS holds for the benefit of the community and clients.
Jamie attended Leo schools before going on to the University of Cincinnati. She graduated from UC with a major in Sport Administration and minors in Business Administration and Marketing. While in college, she helped found the club softball team during her freshman year, and she was also a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. With both of these groups, Jamie organized numerous fundraising, recruitment, service, and social events. She also worked in the Marketing and Fan Development office within the athletic department where her goal was to make each event an enjoyable experience for the fans.
When she is not working, Jamie enjoys doing anything sports related, traveling, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
Read Nate's biography
Nate is an intern with Runestad Financial Services where he is learning about the financial industry. He assists the agents and office specialists by always being ready to help out wherever he is needed and with any project. He researched information for The Ric Runestad Show, facilitates work on small projects, and organizes events.
Nate is in his junior year at Taylor University, where he is majoring in Finance. He plays golf for Taylor on an athletic scholarship and has made the Dean’s List each semester. He attended Leo Junior/Senior High School where he earned an honors diploma. He was a member of the National Honor Society, where he volunteered and contributed to local charities.
Nate is an active member of his church and enjoys evangelizing. He aspires to find an occupation in finance while still serving God. He often volunteers with his youth group. Outside of work, Nate enjoys many activities. He loves golfing, playing tennis, playing basketball, kayaking, reading, and attending Purdue sporting events.
Read Emili's biography
At Runestad Financial Services, Emili works on projects passed on from RFS’s office specialists. Whether it is a small project or a large project, Emili accomplishes it all. She has experience with project development from her previous internships at KB Search Team and Grabill Missionary Church. One of her favorite tasks at the office is cookie runs.
With an honors diploma, Emili graduated from Leo Junior/Senior High School. She was a National Honor Society member, Student Advisory member, Student Council member, Secretary of her class, the editor of The Lion’s Talenewspaper, and ranked in the top five percent of her class. For her academic accomplishments, Emili will receive Bethel’s Presidential Scholarship for when she attends her freshman year at Bethel College in the fall. Along with academic awards, Emili has also earned athletic awards. She played varsity singles in tennis all four years at Leo and received first team all-conference and MVP. She will be playing tennis for Bethel, starting in the fall. Emili plans to study Elementary Education and become a teacher.
When Emili is not at work, she is painting Christian canvases or spending time with her family and friends.
